Athletic Director

Bishop Hoffman Catholic School, a k – 12 school in Fremont Ohio seeks a dynamic leader to guide and grow the school’s sports programs, integrating the school’s mission and fostering the growth and development of student athletic programs.

​

Job Overview

- Understanding of Catholic education, mission and school culture.
-Active and practicing Catholic, lead and make decisions rooted in Catholic faith.
-Oversee and manage all athletic programs, ensuring alignment with youth programs as well as OHSAA and league regulations and rules.
- Serve as a visible, engaged leader within the school, communicating athletic program vision, promotion of programs, and expectations to all stakeholders.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal responsibility among students, and coaches while building a positive, inclusive sports culture.

Essential Duties

- Recruit, train and support coaches for various sports system wide.
- Develop practice and game schedules; coordinate student-athlete registrations and compliance.
- Organize and supervise school-hosted events and maintain facilities and equipment.
- Serve as BHCS representative with League organizations.
- Promote proper conditioning programs in partnership with coaches for each sport.
- Collaborate with school administration and Boosters on program development, fundraising, and facility needs.
- Ensure that coaches and players adhere to codes of conduct and safety protocols.
- Ensure all coaches have proper training and certifications.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in teaching/coach youth sports; administrative or leadership role in athletics preferred.
-  Strong understanding of youth sports, coaching, and officiating.
- Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Flexibility for evening and weekend events.
- Understanding of Catholic education, mission and school culture.

Extended Day Morning Care Aide

Bishop Hoffman Catholic School - Sacred Heart Campus is seeking a morning care aide for the 2025-2026 school year. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the school's morning care of students in grades K-5.

​

Successful candidates must have a high school diploma, a love of working with children, the ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 9:00 am, and clear a FBI/BCI background check.

Preschool Aide (Temporary)

Bishop Hoffman Catholic School - Sacred Heart Campus is seeking a Temporary Preschool Aide. A Preschool Teacher Aide supports the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment for children typically aged 3-5. This role is essential in fostering early childhood development through structured activities, play, and personalized attention. This is currently a temporary position with the possibility of longer term depending on future needs.

Part-Time Bus Driver

Bishop Hoffman Catholic School is seeking to hire a Bus Driver for before-school transportation and after-school activities.  

​

The position is approximately 30 hours per week.  The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:30 am - 8:15 am and

2:15 pm – 5:00 pm and some after-school high-school athletic activities with hours to be determined. 

​

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must have C.D.L. license with passenger and school bus endorsements

               or be willing to attend required classes to receive C.D.L.

  • Must be able to work independently without supervision
